Re-Certification of Holders of the British Casting Certificate.
The British Casting Certificate has been awarded to over 1000 people over the past 22 years. As part of continuing professional development the committee have introduced a system of Re-Certification.
In order to implement the re-certification, of over 1000 people, it has been necessary to do this process over a 3 year period.. In July 2003 the first one third of certificate holders were chosen, and in July 2004 the second third were randomly chosen. The final group will receive their letters in July 2005. You will then be required to re-certify every 3 years.
Each certificate holder chosen will be sent a letter and registration form, which must be completed and returned along with a £30.00 registration fee. In return they will receive a profile folder and be updated on the database. Personnel who have taken and passed the British Casting Exam from March 2004 will be sent a profile folder a few weeks after passing the exam. They will be asked to re-certify 3 years from the year they passed. Please note on each 3 yearly renewal of registration, a fee payment is requested and you may be asked to submit your profile folder as evidence of continuing professional development.
It is essential that you notify the Database holder of any changes of name or address since you passed the British Casting Certificate exam via:
E-Mail: recert@boa.ac.uk
Telephone: 01803 655136
